How do you quickly clean the potty after they go?
What methods do you use to clean the potty after you throw the waste into the big toilet? A good scrub? A quick once over with a wipe? Same for pee and poop?

I dump the pee in the big toilet,and give it a rinse with a little soap. We haven't tackled pooping on the potty yet though. For that I think I'll get some of those potty liners because cleaning poop out of a little potty doesn't sound fun to me

for both dump it in the toilet, I put some antibacterial liquid soap and water in the potty, rinse it. dry and then wipe with antibacterial wipes or spray with clorox bleach and rinse it(after I wash it with soap and water). Let dry.

ELIMINATE THE POTTY!!!! Go right to the big potty....why bother with the mess. My pediatrician told me this along time ago, why clean when you don't have to.....use that potty as a stepping stool to the big potty.

This is a good idea..I was going to get one of those soft potty seats that go on the big potty, but was confused how she would get up there. Her potty doubles as a step stool, so I might get one. I don't remember what I did with DS since it was so long ago!

That's what we did - we had the Dora seat and used the stepstool. Much easier....then when they get comfortable sitting, elminiate the insert
