how do you remove the white stuff on brick house?

I think it's called efflorescence? I have some white stuff on my red brick cape, and I want to try to clean it off. Has anyone had success getting rid of it, and if so, what did you do?

We have scrubbed w a brush and natural cleaner or you can use the power washer.
I've been told you can use a chemical stripper , that will last the longest but eventually wears the brick away

I hate the way it looks. It makes my new red brick look 100 years old lol
But according to just about everyone.... since they took a specific dye/chemical out of red brick to make it safer, it will show these salt marks a lot more often.

So we just scrub it or power wash it every so often to keep it looking it's best
