How do you stop yourself from testing

First off - I should introduce myself to this board since I've been lurking here for awhile now. My name is Diana (obviously lol) and I have a 15 month old son named Jack (see avatar) I really didn't think I would get crazy again the second time around TTC but this is our second month trying and I'm starting to get really excited again. Of course, now that I have baby #2 in my head - I want the BFP NOW!

This would be the most perfect month for it to happen. Everyone on the Parenting board thinks I am pregnant and they are making me even more anxious!!!!

I just bought some tests - and really don't want to test before Friday - because I don't want to deal with the early letdown - and I don't feel like spending a million bucks on tests again (I was a crazy girl who POAS all the time the first time around)

So please tell me - how do you hold out - and how long do you hold out for? I think I'm going to give my DH the tests to hide until Friday (Friday would be CD30 -- the last two months my cycles were 34 and then 30 days) Oh - and I should mention - I have no clue when I ovulate!

UGH - here we go again!!!!!

I am no help- in general, if there is a stick in the house, I WILL pee on it. And if DH hides it, I WILL find it, and then I will pee on it!

It is beyond my control- the only thing that works for me is to not buy them until I am ready to test. Which for me is always way early!

I actually can't stop myself from testing so I bought a ton of dollar store tests so that I can test and not feel like I'm wasting money...lol.

I just don't keep them in the house...and I know that if I go to the drug store at any point during or close to 2WW I need to steer VERY clear of that particular aisle!

this may sound insane - but the last 3 times i've tested, i've gotten af that same day....so i won't test until i'm mentally ready to get AF....(which never really happens, so i don't test).

To stop myself from testing I try anything to stay busy! I find the week easier than the weekends - but I usually just try to rush to the bathroom to pee first thing in the AM to make sure I "waste" that FMU!

I try to hold out until the day before AF is due. Last month I didn't test at all.

If you're not sure about your cycle length or when you ovulated, I'd suggest waiting until you've surpassed your longest cycle length - to save yourself from unnecessary disappointment.

I am no help! I am holding the test in my hand as we speak. I should probably hold out until the weekend since it would probably show up negative anyway. I promised my DH that I would wait but it is so hard!

We use the same Dr.! How cool would that be if we had the babies around the same time!

Once i hit 8DPO all bets are off.

The only think that stops me is I hate wasting the $$ on those tests.
Everytime I pee on a EPT I remind myself it costs $8 .

It's easy for me to hold out... I have NO desire to test before AF is due...when she is late...then and only then is when I test.
