How does the receptionest get promoted to Floor Coordinator
and how does someone who started yesterday go to the national convention this THURSDAY!! This girl never even answered a phone to speak to these customers and she's going to the national convention this weekend. Which I found out when the new girl, the manager and the executive director were talking about renting a car and everyone driving up there together.
The receptionist is now the "call center coordinator". She is going to monitor all our calls, handle issues, do daily reports and assist management on call center protocol.
SHE WASNT EVEN INTERVIEWED FOR IT!!! It was just given to her.
I am P!$$ed. I created half the reports they are using, I was supervisor of customer service and I wasnt even given a consideration. It was oh lets give it to Miss Sarasota.
And the only way I found this out is the manager goes to my manager and was talking to him about when they were going to move this one person up front because she's going to be the new receptionest.
DH tells me all of this will blow up in the companies face. I wish it would. But instead they call a mandatory staff meeting for tomorrow. Last time we had a staff meeting was 4 months ago.
I've fixed up the resume but I dont know if I want to leave. I love my co-workes, have faith in the company, enjoy travel and learning something new everyday but I just hate the politics and backstabbing. I hate the "oh little miss sarasota can get what she wants because she's a pretty blonde"

Thanks  It's been a really rough day.
It got to a point today I was taking my wrist rest and wacking my cubical with it pretending to be an idiot I just hung up with.

Girl...it's time to start sending out the resumes...but know that BS goes on everywhere (my last job was ALL ABOUT blonde and cute!  )...but do send out your info...it's too much already!!
