How exepensive is it to go from radiator heat to baseboards?

My whole house has baseboards except for the 3 bedrooms. The radiator really interferes with the placement of furniture in one of them.

How much is it to convert and is it an hard process?
TIA!

BUMP...older post, but I'm wondering the same thing for our new home.

Or do homeowners find they prefer radiators?

TIA!

i didnt have to switch myself but a girlfriend of mine just had to go through this. her husband is very handy so he did it himself and she said he was swearing throughout the whole process and it was a pain in the arse. sorry..
every house im sure is different thought so maybe other homes would be easier?!? Chat Icon

I wouldn't do it, I have had both and the radiators are much more efficient

I don't remember it being that big of an expense. We had our Heating Guy do it. We also let him keep the old radiators.

You're right about the space. The only issue is eliminating any holes/marks left by the radiators on hardwood floors.
