how far in advance can i make brownies and cookies?
my DD's blessing is saturday and i am doing all the cooking for it. with thanksgiving thursday and friday set aside for cooking everything else, i am wondering how far i can make brownies. i heard if i put a slice of bread in a container it helps keep them fresh.

Brownies i would honestly do the day before, no earlier (just my opinion!)
However...the great thing about cookies is that you can prepare all the cookie dough and refrigerate..then bake quickly when you need them (night before). I always do this and it is such a time saver!!
