How far in advance should I send out my Christening invites?
Christening is on a Sunday afternoon in July and I have a number of guests who will need to travel an hour/hour and a half to get there. I've been telling the people that we are closest to verbally to sort of have them "save the date"...

I'm only planning to send them like 6 weeks ahead, which is probly cutting it close. I think verbally is fine and maybe send it out 8 weeks before?

I plan on doing them about 1 month in advance. That is what we did with DD.
