How far in advance should we call pediatricians?
We have 8 weeks left to go and I have not even looked into any. Should I start calling now??

I am a bad example, I only called last week at 37+ weeks.
Didnt seem to be an issue. If you want to interview a few then you might want to leave yourself more time.

my Dr told us that we don't need to call. If we picked one out that is all we need to do and when I go into labor they will contact the dr and whoever is oncall from the office will care for the baby and then see the dr afterwards for followups.
I think I might call anyway.

Call now so you can interview them.
You don't have to interview them if you don't want to, but if you want to do a consultation you might as well start now so you can call others if you don't like who you meet. I just made my appointments this week and I feel like I'm so far behind.
