How far in advance to book bday places?
I've never booked one of those bounce places- Pump it Up- or anything like that before. All other parties have been in the backyard. Do they fill up fast or can I wait to call them for June? The thing is, because of certain other dates in that month, I NEED a certain weekend in order for certain family members to come. Will they look at me like a lunatic if I call soon to book it or is this normal?

Depends on where. We just booked at a Bounce place for a May party. They do have a few parties going on. WE just wanted to be safe since we wanted a weekend party and in the morning b4 nap time.
If they only do a few parties on the weekend then the sooner you call the better so you can get a good date and time.

My daughter's birthday is in June. In my experience, that month books up quickly due to end of the year parties (i.e. girl scouts, etc.) as well as birthdays.

i always book way in advance, just bc if i know thats what DD wants rather do it while it is available and not have to worry about it..i have friends that wait to the last minute and havent had issues, but i am a planner

I book early so I know I have the date. We booked my youngest's march birthday in January so we could get the date, time we wanted.

If you NEED that date, I would book it now. Sometimes they fill up quickly.
