How fast is Amazon shipping?
Does it come quicker than they say even if I choose Standard shipping?

sometimes I get an item in a few days, other times it takes the full estimated time. sorry if that's no help

that used to be my experience until I ordered a couple of books that DH wanted and it took alost 2 weeks to get here. I was really surprised. they were not backordered or anything.

Books are always shipped Media Mail through Amazon (at least that has been my experience) if you pick standard shipping and that takes a lot longer.

i always get supersaver free shipping...
it seems when i purchase the $25 amount it takes closer to the full time to ship- but things that i spend over $50 on i tend to get in like 2-3 days

you can't predict... becuase they have different warehouses and you never know which your item will be shipped from..... most ordinary items (groceries, basic toys) usually show-up within 4 business days of placing the order. diapers/formula arrive within 2 business days.
