It is SOOO easy to do. Chat Icon

I used ice cube trays to hold the baby food or tupperware containers.

I just made my own recipes. lol

I actually find it easier than jarred food...

I froze it in ice cube trays and then moved it to ziplock baggies...

I use my noodle for recipes..

It really is very easy - just requires a little time but otherwise easy and you can make so much with so little!

I use the wholesomefoods website for recipes and help. It has been a great resource for me.

You will need some equipment (many things you might already have):

Freezer trays (any kind but I recommend something with a cover - I use the trays from Kidco at BRU)

Steamer Basket or Machine (if you plan to steam - it's my preferred method)

Food Processor - countertop, handheld - whatever works for you.

I find it easy..

Just steam the foods, and puree.

I put it in the ice cube trays to freeze and then transfer to Freezer Ziplocs.

It gets way easier once your used to it. I can puree up a batch of anything while Im cooking, dinner, cleanign etc,

Re: how hard is it to make your own baby food?

so far, really easy

I buy food, steam or cook it, puree it, freeze it. I usually make big batches of whatever food I am doing that day, so that I have a big supply in the freezer. Find it to be pretty cheap to do, and I feel good about doing this for DD.
