How hard is it to paint vertical stripes?

I think I want to do this using the same color, but a different finish so the stripes are subtle.

If you have done this, how hard is it? Obviously I know I need to use a level, but I still nervous about taping. Did you use a laser level or an old school one?

Any tips would be great!

I would use a straight edge level.

From watching shows on TV to get a "PERFECT" line without it "running" a bit under the tape you have paint the "seam" first with a clear glaze. Then you paint over the glaze. The paint will not sip under the tape.

its really not that hrd, but remember to remove the tape before the paint dries or you'll peal the paint. everyone always leaves it there till it's dry and then you peal the paint
