how has your hair changed (naturally) over the years?
when i was younger, my hair was mostly straight. it had a wave to it but for the most part in all the pictures of me, you see pretty straight hair.
it has gotten so curly as i've gotten older (especially after I turned 30). i visited my parents this weekend and when they saw my hair in all its natural unruly curly glory, they were pretty surprised - it's never looked like this.
am i the only one?

Re: how has your hair changed (naturally) over the years?
That happened to me too, except it happened when I was younger. I always had a slight wave to my hair. Then I was on vacation over the summer and I don't know why but I put gel in my hair and scrunched it and that was it. It was super curly from that point at 13 years old until I had my first child. After him it was just very wavy and after each child (I have 3) my hair is less and less wavy.
I also noticed my hair got darker over as I got older.

For me its the opp. I have always had really curly hair. Since having kids (each kid actually) it has gotten progressively less curly. It is still curly but, nothing like it was! I am sure if I have another baby it will be even less!

My hair was always kind of unruly, but not wavy. As I've gotten older it has a natural wave to it. Also, my hair used to be bleach blonde when I was younger and now it's gradually gotten darker and darker over the years. It barely looks blonde anymore.

Wavier, and not nice waves. It's not pretty on humid days.
And thicker.
Since pregnancy, my hair has gone down hill (so has my skin). Dry and coarse.

It's gotten a little less curly (still curly all over but the curls are not as tight).
I won't even get into the greys

My hair has gotten curly too!!! I actually used to get perms, back in the day, but now w/ some gel and some scrunching it's so curly. I had DD at 29 and that's when I noticed it. I thought it was related to the pregnancy.
I am also a natural red head but it has gotten darker as I got older.

Much thicker and in better overall condition. I spent so many Saturday nights dyeing my hair in my teens & 20s. I use better color, products, stylists etc now.

My hair's gotten a bit lighter since college - but I live in a sunnier place now, so that may have something to do with it. And I could swear it used to be thicker...

Re: how has your hair changed (naturally) over the years?
My hair was pin straight as a kid but I went through a stage in HS/College where I body waved and permed it a lot and even though I no longer get perms/body waves- and haven't in YEARS- my hair has never gone back to being totally straight.
It isn't curly enough to wear it that way without curling it with an iron, but it's not straight- it has an odd wave to it.
I blamed it on the years of perming, but maybe it's just a natural change with age???

Mine has gotten darker, thicker and slightly wavy. It used to be fine, and pin straight. It is also less oily.
My mom's hair was always dark & thick, but she said it got less oily & wavier when she got older too.
