How important is iron in a prenatal pill?

Is the DHA more important? I am considering taking the VitaFusion Prental Gummies, i have such a hard time with regular prenatal horse pills. I think these would be easier for me.

I was taking flinstone vitamins for the first 20 weeks, with the O.K. from my doctor because I was unable to stomach regular prenatals. I was able to add the DHA pill in around 13 weeks. However, I'm anemic now so perhaps I was missing out on some essential iron early on? I'd talk to your doctor about the prenatals mine looked at the ingredients and then o.k.'ed it.

I've been taking these since wk 12 because of naseau and vomitting. I am able to keep these down for the most part. MY OB said that these are fine until I am better with the naseau and vomitting and then return to the other prenatals. My OB was mostly concerned with the folic acid and DHA content.

I think the iron is pretty important. You should ask your dr about those vitamins and possibly using an iron supplement as well. My dr wrote an rx for chewable prenatal vitamins. They don't taste fabulous but they have the same ingredients as the big pills.
