How is Dix Hills in the 1/2 Hollow Hills SD?
I have a buyer that found a house here that she wants to see but she's not familiar with the area and neither am I. pros and cons are appreciated. TIA!

My cousin's kids go to Half Hollow Hills and she loves the district and has nothing but rave reviews for it.

I have friends in HHH and I was sort of shocked that they're disappointed in the HS and middle school in HHH... I was always under the impression that it was a great district

thanks for the info about the SD girls. any cons to the area? are there "bad" parts to Dix Hills?

There is a part of Dix hills that borders Wyndanch so I would be careful of that. Children that live in Wyndanch go to HHH schools. I would say the cons to the area would be depending on how you get to the house. For example, I personally think Rte. 110 can be a nightmare. HTH

It's my dream (and probably others) to be in that area with that school district. It is one of the most desirable places in Suffolk County to live and the area is beautiful.

My sisters kids go to HHH and she is the PTA president of noe of the elementary schools- loves it!! My Dh went there way back when and he said it was great!! Definately one of the best on LI

Half Hallows is HIGHLY rated and very desirable. Dix Hills is a beautiful area. My Aunt and Uncle have lived there for 35 years.
I don't know of any cons.
