How is Macy's in store return policy?
I checked the website but it's more for macys.com returns.
I have a few things to return- how long do I have? Is there a time limit?
Also - the gift recepit seems to be on the price tag- like a seperate sku that says return label. Is this how they do it- no actually gift recepit? Will I get full price paid back?
If anyone knows I'd appreciate it!

If you paid on your Macy's charge you will get full price back even with out receipt if the tickets have the 'return label' on them.
I don't know how it is handled if there is no gift receipt or it wasn't on your macy's charge.

I returned something with a gift receipt to Macy's, and they had to mail me a merchandise credit. It was a bit ridiculous, and I honestly haven't shopped there since. I could see if I had no receipt, but it was a gift receipt!

So what exactly is that return label on the tag.
The person who gave me the gift said THAT was the gift receipt.
Is that true?
I don't mind a store credit- but I want to make sure I get back what was paid for the stuff kwim?

This is right, except if it's been purchased over 180 days ago they won't take it back even for store credit. At least that was my experience

The tag should have a little sticker on it that says "required for return" with a little bar code. That's all you need!!

I know its about 2 months old or so.
I just never saw a gift recepit like that so I was concerned.
