How is N. Merrick SD?
looking into a house there tomorrow, from the info sheet my RE agent sent me, it looks promising.... but the house is pretty reasonably priced for being in Merrick.

Is it Bellmore-Merrick school district?
Should be... then you are good. It's defintely one of the top districts on the entire extreme south shore. They have great programs for the kids, their teacher training is excellent and the community is very pro-education.
I have several co-workers (teachers) who live in Bellmore Merrick for that reason. They live in Bellmore but teach in Seaford... we only have one teacher who now lives in the district. That says a lot.

I'm good friends with the superintendent and it is a very good school district. The elementary district is N. Merrick and the MS/HS district is Bellmore/Merrick.

My aunt is the Superintendents secretary for N. Merrick.

I am from Merrick and I went to high school there-- I tunred out ok!
My mom is actually a teacher on LI and I believe that the SD is well regarded.
