How long

I am using OPK and did get a surge line on Thursday. I know there is no need to keep testing but i did and was still getting a surge on Monday (five days) at which point I stopped. What does that mean?

Was the surge line darker than the 'test' line ?

The surge line picks up LH hormone which is found in your body throughout your cycle, so there almost always is a line.

If it was darker than the test line for the entire five days, then make sure you keep bding until it turns negative.

Some women slowly increase their LH...and until there is enough to make the follicule rupture and ovulate, you should keep the bding going.

Always keep testing until the surge turns negative.

Some women also have false positive surges, especially in the case of pcos.
