how long after losing you mucus plug
do you go into labor?? My friend just lost hers!!

with DD mine came out over a few days then i was induced.
DS, came out over a few days and went into labor that weekend.

I lost what I thought was my whole plug on a Saturday. 5 days later on a Thurs. I went into labor. That night, while in labor and having contractions, I lost the rest of my plug.

I lost mine while I was in labor with my 1st.
With my 2nd I lost it 2 weeks before I had the baby.

I lost mine when I started having contractions. My water broke 4 hours later.

I lost mt starting around 4pm, my water broke at 11:30pm and dd was born at 11:26 the next day!!

I remember loosing my mucus plug on a Friday afternoon and went into labor 48hrs later. DS was born that Sunday night.

Unfortunately the loss of the plug doesn't always mean labor is on its way.
According to my doc it is possible for a new mucous plug to form after the loss of one or part of one.
