How long can frozen meat be good for?
I have steaks that say sold thru 4/10....they have been frozen.
Are they still good?

I have read many places that if food is kept frozen at 0 deg. Fahrenheit it is safe forever.
The only thing is the taste or texture may change but it will always be safe.

I will keep things for about 3 months. If I don't use it by then I fear that it won't cook evenly or have a funny taste no matter how good the packaging is.

That is only about 5 weeks...they are certainly good!
I think chicken is good for 3 months in the freezer. Beef is good indefinitely, but it just doesn't taste as good after about 6 months.
