how long can Vanilla Wafer Banana pudding last?

I made pudding with cool whip, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla wafers and bananas friday night. it said to keep refrigerated overnight before eating, so today was day 1 of eating it... how many more days can it last in the refrigerator? do you think I could freeze it?

I made way more than I could eat... and not many others around me like it....

I would think you're good for 3 - 4 days refrigerated. It would never last that long around here! My mom used to make that and it was a family favorite.

In my house...10 minutes!

Yes, you can freeze it. It actually, if at all possible, tastes better.

There are so many different versions when you google it.
Some recipes add sugar and eggs.

I did the following:

I made 2 1oz packages vanilla pudding, then added more milk (1 cup), added 1/2 small can sweetened condensed milk (which I think I could have not used now that I see other recipes.), folded in 1/2 container cool whip.

Then I layered in a pan (anything would work) in this order:

pudding, Vanilla Wafers (like Nilla but store brand), banana slices (I had 3 bananas), pudding and started again to the top where I put the rest of the cool whip. Refrigerate overnight. (The cookies get soft like cake!)

the vanilla pudding, milk and cool whip were all fat free. I should not have added the sweetened condensed milk and it would have been a better choice.
