How long did it take?
How long did it take for your child's tooth to fall out once it started getting loose?
DD turned 6 in Feb and finally one of her bottom teeth is finally loose.... just noticed it today. How long does it take?
Thanks,
Dee
Ok so it's been almost a month, and the toot still hasn't come out!
Today, she wanted her half brother ( who is 17) to take it out...not me, not her dad but her big brother....lol (I'm not too jealous am Ii?)
after 25 minutes it's a no go. won't come out.... took pictures took video. I stop the video and she is sitting there with a strange look on her face and I asked her what are you thinking about.
" I have an idea!" she goes into her Easter basket and pulls out pop rocks. She then proceeds to tell me as she is putting them in her mouth that she can "blast them out with the pop rocks". Me and my step son are rolling on the floor in tears. You gotta give her an "A" for effort and for "thinking out of the box"... Do you think I have a scientist in the making?
Part of me was sad that she didn't want me to try to get the tooth out but even a bigger part of me was happy that she wanted her "big brother" to do the honors!
Honestly I love them both to death!

Re: How long did it take?
It depends. Some come out in a few days, some hang on for awhile. My DD lost a top tooth last week that was a hanger on, it was a good 10 days of very loose and awhile before that it was wiggly.

Re: How long did it take?
Thanks... I'm really excited for her tooth to fall out but she has her spring pictures tomorrow. I'm so torn right now....lol
Such a reflective day for me today. Her tooth is loose and my step-son is at SUNY Albany for his college visit... I think I'm gonna cry today!

Re: How long did it take?
DS is 6 also, he has lost 4 teeth but with each one I remember hem being wiggly, then noticeable wiggly for at least a month or so and then a little while before he finally got brave and tugged on it.

Re: How long did it take?
My DS is five and has lost six teeth. One I didn't even know was loose when it fell out. A couple have been real hanger-ons that we had to yank out because they just got too uncomfortable for him. The other three were loose for a couple weeks before they came out.

Re: How long did it take?
Several weeks for all of DS's. His current loose tooth has been semi-loose for about a month, and really loose for about 2 weeks.
