How long did it take us to chisel out our cars this morning?
I thought I was gonna break my window, I had to scrape so hard.

I have had my defroster on for almost 30 min. another 30 probably needed before I start to scrape. Dh couldn't even get my door open this morning, took forever.

DH did mine for me, but he told me he couldn't break up the ice, so not to go the front steps today! It's so dangerous. I am housebound today with 2 kids!

I started the car about 10 mins ago and will let it rum for about another15 or 20. I couldn't believe the lawn, it's like an ice skating rink. FROZEN SOLID!

DH said it took him 45 minutes. Haven't tried mine yet, but most of the ice has melted off of it.

my car is in the garage, but can't get out, we haven't done the driveway yet.
DH couldn't get up the ski slope (our driveway) last night when he came home from work so his car is still parked at the bottom of the driveway.
We're heading out shortly to do the clean up

I am 9 and a half mts pregnant and stranded at home with DH who has the flu! We were supposed to go to our hospital tour too... oh well....

We have nowhere to be today, so I just waited until after lunch. DS and I went out to play, and I just banged on the car in a fwe spots, and it all just slid off. Took about 10 minutes to do both cars.... including some play time.  Haven't touched the driveway, though..... not looking forward to that.... it's all ice still.
