how long did it take your dc to get used to the woombie/swaddlepod???
i just bought the swaddlepod (a cheap woombie) for noah and he hates it!!! he keeps trying to break free.

DS will only calm down in a swaddle if it keeps his hands from moving. We use a thin flannel square blanket and with the right technique works wonders to calm him down. It's a swaddledesigns blanket.
As for the woombie, I love the concept, so easy, but DS doesn't agree, nothing I would do would calm him in it. He keeps trying to move his hands up and out of it.

Kieran loved the Woombie right away actually. But my nephew took about 3 nights of trying it before he got used to it.

omg I lied! I remember this post and thought, eh why not try it again for a nap, he loves being swaddle and his teeth lately are bothering so much, I wanted him to be comfy.
I put him in there, sang him twinkle twinkle, layed him down, and he's been asleep for 2.5 hours.
I guess it wasn't tight enough, he didn't move his arms up in it, or .. IDK ... something just happened.
