how long did you carry a diaper bag for?
I stopped around 10-11 months bc aside from the bag I had to carry her and it was just too much. I always keep diapers in my car and bottles etc... Milk I can buy while I am out as well as food. Big trips I pack a bag otherwise we are done with the diaper bag.

I still bring it with me places b/c I pack a change of clothing, diapers, sippy, etc. But I have to say my use is dwindling down...

I stopped around 13 months. I just have a big purse...I keep 2 diapers and wipes in there. I usually toss her sippy cup and a snack when we head out in there also. If I am going to be away for the day...I will pack a bag with some extra clothes or anything extra and leave it in the car. DD is a good eater and always has been, so I just buy food while we are out if/when it's lunchtime or something.

If I'm just running out for a little while I'll pack extra diapers/wipes & a bottle in my purse.
If it's going to be all day or so, I'll bring the whole diaper bag w/ a change of clothes, toys, etc.

It depends on how long I plan to be out. For a long time, we weren't bringing it with us but we got burned on that idea. Once she pooped and we were out and about & I had nothing to change her, she got a diaper rash. I felt terrible.

Till Julia was like a year old. I didn't really need a lot with me, and I would put the diapers and wipe case in my bag, and would leave an extra set of clothes in my car.

I still do. I have a smaller one though - the Petunia Pickle Bottom Touring tote that's nice enough to carry as my purse/diaper bag. I like to carry a couple of diapers, sippy and some snacks at all times!!! I only carry my keys and wallet so honestly I don't carry any other bag, just the diaper bag.
If I'm going out without the baby (which is RARE) I'll carry a regular pocketbook.

i bring it because I use it for my wallet. I really need a wristlet then I won't need the bag at all. I have snacks and juice in the car. I stopped consistantly packing and bringing one around 10 months also.
I feel so freeeeeeeeeeee

I still carry around a bag that's big enough for what I need for the 2 of my kids (ages 4 and 2). While it's not a pocketbook, it's also not a diaper bag in any sense. I use a tote bag or a Vera Bradley type bag. I always have a diaper and wipes, plus lately I feel like the concession stand lady with all the snacks in it I use to keep my kids happy when we are out!

I really dont carry a diaper bag unless I will be gone for the whole day...

I stopped around 6 months and just started using a regular purse. I use the Pod Packs and they help a lot in freeing up space.

In general I dont carry a diaper bag. I just have the bag packed and in the car. It has all I need and if I need it I can always run to the car and grab something....

i pack it and usually leave it in the car.. if im in the mood i grab it and bring it in.. my mom has stuff at her house so if i go somewhere and need it a bring it .. I pack extra diapers and wipes in my purse so its handy.. my purse is a perfect size to have things..

Ava is 3 1/2 and I still do. I carry Benadryl and Epi-Pen (for Peanut Allergy), wipes, extra clothes, snacks,water, my wallet, makeup and cell.
