How long did it take you to get these in the mail after the baby was born?

It tooks exactly 2 weeks from the day they were born for both of my kids.

I gotb ss card within 3 weeks, still waiting for birth certificate....dd is 5 weeks old now
eta: spoke with hospital (Huntington) and they told me it takes 6-8 weeks for birth cert

My children were born two weeks ago today.
We got birth certificates (Town of North Hempstead) on Saturday.
SS#'s and cards came today.

It's been 8 weeks and we still haven't gotten either. DH called and they said there was a delay in processing
I am annoyed.

Both came quickly - not sure exactly how fast but within 2 weeks of the birth.

The SS you should get quickly, but I am still waiting for her birth certificate and its been 5 weeks. I called the hospital and they said it takes 6-8 weeks
