How long does it take to make CC cookies?
From scratch. The toll house recipe? I have to be someplace in an hour... is that enough time to mix, cook and cool?

Not the entire batch but some. Cooking time = 9-13 minutes per tray

Probably not unless you're REALLY fast... and clean up quickly!
It'd probably take less time to go to the store, buy the dough, and make the cookies from the dough. Taste almost the same, though not as much fun to make!

I can get the batter made in about 10 minutes, each dozen takes about 11 minutes to cook and then 10 to cool...
You could prob get 3 dozen done, at least 2

If you make it from scratch don't forget the butter should be softened. Doesn't work that well if you nuke it.

I've been making it for a long time, too, but only once a year. It takes me forever and I'm messy! (Hopefully this year with my KitchenAid it won't be so messy or take as long...)
I also nuke the butter and don't taste a difference.

Re: How long does it take to make CC cookies?
not really.... becuase most cookie doughs have to chill in the refigerator for an hour prior to baking.
cutting out that step will make the cookies spread too much when they bake....

Ugh - why bother rushing around and making yourself crazy ?? I say go the bakery for the cookies and have yourself a drink instead of turning on the stupid oven!!!
You can tell it's Friday after I had the week from hell at work and I don't have any kids yet .......right ??
