How long does it take your body to get used to a BCP?

I've been on my most recent pill for 2 months and I am FINALLY starting to feel like the side affects are subsiding.

Have you ever experienced an adjustment period with a pill but wound up loving it? I'm so back and forth about the pill I am on. My gyno said to give it 3 months.

My body got used to it after the first month. I've been on the same one for 7 or 8 years and I haven't had any problems.

what are you on?

it took me 3 months to get used to loestrin 24 - with the 3 day period thing

also if you accidentally skip one, it takes like 2 weeks to get back on track, at least it did for me

anyway, my doc said 3 months was the norm

i've been on ortho lo for about 8 years now and never had a problem once. my body never had an adjustment period...unless you count weight gain as an adjustment!

I was always told three months.

for me--- usually 3 months.

I ususally had to give each pill I tried 2-3 months. My body would regulate itself after that time on the pill.
