Re: How long does it take your toddler to fall asleep at night?
Is it bad that I have no idea? I put him in there and he goes to sleep....
I usually don't check on him for at least an hour tho so that I know he will be out and he won't see me.
He is 17 months

Re: How long does it take your toddler to fall asleep at night?
Some nights fast others she talks and plays for what seems like an eternity (maybe an hour or hour and half at the worst). Others in 5 min she's out cold. But she's content and happy up there so it's not an issue. She's 27 mos.

Lily is 16 months and it changes every night. Some nights she's out immediately, some nights she chats with her stuffed animlas for a half hour or so, and some nights, she plays for up to an hour.

Just shy of 2 years old and it can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. She plays her aquarium the whole time she is awake---we go through batteries like no tomorrow!

Re: How long does it take your toddler to fall asleep at night?
Kaitee is almost 26 months. It takes anywhere from 2 minutes to 1 1/2 hours
Some nights it seems like she is out by the time she hits the sheets but other nights I can hear her in her room asking for things to try to stall to stay awake.

Re: How long does it take your toddler to fall asleep at night?
Maddie turned 2 last month and it's totally random. If she had a busy day and skipped her nap she falls asleep fairly quickly within 5-10mins. If she takes a long or late nap then she runs laps(literally) in her crib anywhere from 30-60mins!

Re: How long does it take your toddler to fall asleep at night?
Sabrina is 19 months and I lay down with her (bad habit, but I still nurse her at bedtime and I really like the snuggle time). For a while it was taking 5-10 minutes from when we finished nursing. Within the past week or so she has been taking 30-45 minutes. I think this week has been because Daddy is away on business and her mind is just going and going...

Re: How long does it take your toddler to fall asleep at night?
it depends, but often DD plays in her crib for a long time before she falls asleep (anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour or more). If it's longer than an hour (I watch her on the video monitor) I go in and she usually has a poopy diaper or something else is wrong.

Re: How long does it take your toddler to fall asleep at night?
for those of you who said it takes up to an hr or more..do u think its because they went down to early or overtired...or just unwinding

Re: How long does it take your toddler to fall asleep at night?
DD is almost 23 months. She can take anywhere from 5 minutes - 30 minutes. I guess it depends on how tired she is. Most times it's approx. 10 min.
