How long have you been TTC?
7 months and 6 months to go to a specialist since I have pcos. It's m own choice not to see a specialist and control my pcos naturally and hopefully then get pregnant if it happens it happens but if not I won't beat myself up over it

Re: How long have you been TTC?
9 months. Wow. I just realized that if I had gotten pregnant right away, I'd be just about to give birth now.
I'm giving myself til January 2016 then I'll go see a specialist.

Re: How long have you been TTC?
This time only one month so far. Before DS2 I had been trying for 6 months and had 2 chemicals in that time frame so I went to see a specialist.
The usual timeframe is 6 months for over 35, 12 months for under. But if you feel something is wrong and want to go earlier, go for it.

How long have you been TTC?
My dr. said 12 months, but I went after 4 months, and they gave me a prescription for HSG, which I did after 6 months of TTC. I knew something was up.. because my cycles are like clockwork and I had no issue first time around. I apparently have a blocked tube, and possible endo.. nothing conclusive. I have been ttc for 13 months now - if nothing happens in the next 6 to 9 months, I will throw in the towel.

My periods has always been painful.. crampy, bloating, the whole 9.. but nothing some motrin/tylenol can't resolve. I had another hsg done today, and no blocked tubes, so the first time around I probably had a spasm.
I don't want to do surgery to figure out of if I have endo.. I wish there was another way to find out.

Re: How long have you been TTC?
We've been trying for 10 months. After 3 months my dr said I could go if I wanted, but I am older and have PCOS. I decided to try for a little longer on my own.
My first re appt is in 2 weeks. However, if I had known how long it would take to get in for a consult I would've called sooner.

Re: How long have you been TTC?
1 year this time around. Got PG the 2nd month trying with DD and also the 2nd month trying before her, which was a chemical. I'm definitely feeling like something has to be wrong and going to a consult with an RE next week.

How long have you been TTC?
August will be 2 years since we first started TTC for #2, but there have been off months during that time, a M/C at 5.5 weeks on month 3 of TTC , so we had to take a month off after that, and a M/C at 12 weeks. We are in our first cycle after that. So all in all it's about a year and a half at this point, maybe a little less than a year and a half.
We got pregnant with DD on month 3. I am unexplained. I relate it all to stress after the first M/C b/c once I let it all go I got pregnant in Feb naturally. I am praying it happens again soon, but sticks this time.

Re: How long have you been TTC?
My GYN had recommended seeing a specialist after 6 cycles. I have irregular cycles and other symptoms consistent with adrenal abnormalities. After 6 months i saw an RE and spent the next 2 cycles going through tests. RE confirmed I did indeed have adrenal issues and recommended going straight to IVF. I got pregnant my first IVF cycle. It took a total of 10 months to get my BFP. Dr said my best chances at conceiving naturally would be to try again once AF returned. We started trying for DC 2 the month AF returned (9 months pp since I was BFing). That was over a year ago and still no BFP. My GYN told me I could see an RE again whenever I'm ready.
