how long on clomid

taking an opinion poll: how many months would you give Clomid before moving on to injectibles?

ETA: uneplained infertility, everything has come back normal

well the max you CAN do is 6 months. No reputable Dr. will allow more then that b/c thats the reccomended length to try it.

If you have a "small" issue, like not ovulating"occasionaly" I would do the 6 months.

For me..I did 3 months. I would do at least 2-3 if you respond.

Clomid actually starts to work BETTER the longer you take it. My response on the 3rd cycle was much better then the 1st two. Plus you have to increase the doasge and that takes time as well.

I did 2 mos and responded well to it and got PG my 2nd IUI.

My dr said we could do up to 6 months but I have a feeling that month 6 isn't going to be anymore successful than months 1 and 2 have been. So for me, month 3 is the last month on just clomid.

My Doc told me no more than 4-5 months....This will be my first month

This time I did it for 2 cycles. First month was at 50mg and it did nothing for me. The second at 100 mgs did the the trick. My Dr. said no miore than 5-6 rounds.
