how long was your child not feeling well after his 2 month shots? should i reschedule our trip?
we're supposed to be going on a small vacation 2 days after DS's 2 month shots. i know he's getting 3-4 of them and many children react with a low fever, etc.
i have no idea how long he might react for. should i reschedule the trip? i can reschedule it, but this time will work out much better for us.
how long did your DC react and what type of reaction did he have?
(i'm not concerned with the amount of shots, just the possible reactions.)

My DS didn't have any major reaction to his first shots except sleeping a bit more---he was back to normal the next day. If it were me, I would go on the trip, even if he has a low fever, you could still call the ped from your trip and take tylenol with you just in case.

I think you should be fine. DS had a fever the night of the shot and was a little cranky the next day or so but then he was fine...

I think you should be fine. DS had a fever the night of the shot and was a little cranky the next day or so but then he was fine...
did you give him tylenol or anything? can you give them tylenol at this age?

Ben was a little cranky but really had no other reaction. I think it should be fine to go away as scheduled.

if you'd like to travel up to meet us, i'd love to see you! but you are definitely a little far for us to drive with DS

Mikey was just a little sleepy after his shots--he was back to his normal self the next day. I say go on your vacation and have a wonderful time

He was sleepy that day, but the following day he was fine, absolutely normal. Other than sleepiness, he didn't develop any other illness.

Todd Jr is 3 months and so far he has had no reactions from his shots! he was only a little cranky for the day.

DS had his 6 weeks vaccinations this past week (he was 7 weeks).
2 shots - no reaction at all.
