How long will this last here tonight?
Gonna take a shot here that this may stay on this board for a little longer than if it was on a Wednesday afternoon..LOL
If you cook your steak on the stovetop, what kind of pan do you cook it in?? I need to get a new pan tomorrow from Target and I literally have been frying my steak. I need to know how to get it to come out nice!

I use a grill pan- I like the way it cooks and gives it nice lines.

If you heat the cast iron pan in the oven to 500 prior to frying on stove top, the outside of the steak gets really crispy and is so good (though I just use a regular cast iron skillet).
