How long would this last...
With Christmas being on Monday I am keen to get out and do all my Christmas food shopping sometime before Saturday Morning (Supermarkets in England are usually JAMMED JAMMED JAMMED in the run up before Christmas, just because the shop closes for 2.5 days the general public go into war mentality and buy enough food for the apocolypse) So I want to get out there before the weekend. So my question is this...
If I buy my rib of beef this afternoon or tomorrow, do you think it will be okay in the fridge until Monday? I don't have enoug room in my freezer for the meat...so in the fridge it will have to go!

I would double check with the butcher--I am sure they would say ok,.,,but I would not do it.
If the temp is not exactly right, all the blood is going to run out of it and its not cheap enough to mess around with that...
send your dh later in the week!
or..maybe the butcher can hold it for u with your name on it...
