It depends. In an early voting state,if it was before election day, I wouldn't wait more than 2 hours, b/c I know I'd have another opportunity.

I specifically go after work, so I can wait as long as it takes.

as long as it takes.

I waited 1.5 hours to vote, with my 22 month oldChat Icon we just made a family night out of it.

We were expecting 2.5 hours, so it was a nice surprise.

Whatever time it takes. I know it seems like something that takes a "part of your day" but really we need to see that its a PRIVLEGE that we have in this country to vote---others around the world WISHED they had that right.

ITA - there is a cartoon from South Africa after black South Africans were given the right to vote in the 90s. There is a long line for the polls and a white man says "I can't believe I have been waiting in line for 5 hours" a black man next to him says "I've been waiting my whole life"

I would wait as long as it took to have my vote counted in any election not just a presidential.

BTW - GREAT QUESTION

i would wait as long as i could - probably not 8 hours because i had to work today and don't think i could actually have been there for 8 hours! but if i went after work and had to wait till the polls closed, i would wait. i consider it too much of a privilege not to vote, even if I'm not in a swing state.

As long as I could, though that's not always easy with two little ones. Like today, my mom was able to watch my kids for two hours max so I could go. I got lucky though and was in and out in 5 mins.

As long as it takes. I was willing to wait all day since I was off from work. But I was out in a few minutes.

I had my daughter with me, so if there was a line, it would have been based on how long she would have tolerated it. If I had to wait outside with her, then I wouldnt have waited long.

Luckily, there were no lines

As long as it takes. There's not many things I take super serious, but voting, I do. I honestly feel it is my personal responsibility to vote and would wait as long as I needed to.
