Re: how many books do u read your dc a day?

DD is 3.5 months and I read her 2-3 a day. I had to stop reading to her at bedtime because she laughs and coos at me the whole time and won't get sleepy. DH reads to her when he puts her to bed so that makes it 4-5 a day.

about 10-15...she loves reading! I can read the same book over and over and over and over again. We read about 5 before bed and the others through out the day.

I read the same 3 books over and over again.

We go to the library, 1 book stays near the tub, 1 book in his room, and one in the living room.

during the week, i don't have much time with him, so i only read 1 or 2. One at bed time and if he plays with his books, I'll read it with him.

One the weekend, usually around 3. But he doesn't sit for the book, so a lot of times I don't even read the story, we just look at the pics and point things out.

1-2 at bedtime.

We do flash cards during the day, so that's sort of like reading. Chat Icon

I'm not sure....he likes to eat books tooChat Icon

I don't think that its how many you read, its that you stress the importance of reading.

I probably read about that at that age. They don't have a long attention span so it was hard.

Now I'll read them as many as they bring me at any point in the day. THe only time I will put a limit on it is when my daughter tries to prolong bedtime by bringing me like 10 books to read to her. Chat Icon
