How many calories?
For those of you that are calorie counting - how many calories do you aim to consume daily? Me - 1200-1500

I was eating 1000 calories, but I knew that I was eating too few... per my nutritionist, my goal is to have 1200 to 1500 per day.
She recommended the following allotment of calories:
Breakfast-- 400 calories
Lunch- 300 calories
Snack-- 200 to 300 calories
Dinner-- 400 calories
I usually end up at about 1300 for the day.

yeah, I planned to have as few as possible, but the way she portioned out, it adds up to 1300 or 1400. I am trying to get my metabolism back on track-- so, I figure a little more now is better. Then I can decrease to 1200 when my body gets used to it.

You both eat so little!!
I eat about 1500 - 1600. I weigh 122 lbs. and workout so that is my absolute minimum.

I am working out too-- but, I am not too hungry-- there are certainly times when I wish I could just eat whatever... but, trying to lose the weight because I DON"T weigh 122 lbs!
Although if I did, I would probably look a little scary since I am 5' 7".

I know you are trying to repair your metabolism. I have learned through the years that if you multiply your weight times 12 it's a good way to figure out your calories for weight loss. I know it's frustrating to get different advice from so everybody, sorry!! :)

I need to eat about 1600 calories a day to lose weight. I won't post my weight , but if I eat less, I won't lose.
