Sorry for your loss.
We get 3 days for a close family member. They do not define what relatives that includes.

So sorry for your loss. 
We get 5 days for an immediate family member, and either 2 or 3 days for someone else.
The most important thing is that you're there with your family if you want to be there. I'm sure your job will understand if you need to take a couple of days - in my experience, bosses were very accommodating about that. It just stinks that they come out of your bank of personal/sick days.

we get 5 days if it is immediate family and 3 days if it is aunt/uncle/cousin, etc.
It's the same for me. 1 day is not enough - what if you had to travel to be there? The last thing a grieving person needs is to be stressed about time off.

5 days, and it's up to the manager to define "immediate family" and we do so very liberally (we've given it for close friends, etc).

I'm sorry for your loss
I work at DH's company, but when I worked at a small law firm the attorney I worked for was very accomodating. He gave me a week and a half when my father passed away and three days when a cousin (out of state funeral) passed.

Kim, sorry to hear about your grandmother. Mine died 3 days before my wedding and we had been waiting for it, too - but it didn't make it any easier.

We get 5 day for parents and spouse and i know at least 3 for grandparents but it may be 5 as well.

I'm sorry about your loss.
For immediate family (including grandparents and in laws) we get 5 consecutive days - so if a weekend falls between there that counts as part of the five days.
Anyone else you have to use your own personal time.

I am sorry for your loss.
I stopped working when my DS was born, but the company I worked at for 10 years before that gave NOTHING! It could be my parents, husband, child and I'd have to use vacation or personal. (they also gave nothing for maternity leave)
DHs company gave him 3 days for his grandmother and he would get more for parents, spouce or children.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
When my grandmother passed i got 5 days. Anyone in my immediate family is 5 days bereavement.
However, when my husband's grandmother passed I got 3 days bereavement.

At Con Ed, we get only one DIF day for a grandparent as well. We get three days for an immediate family member.

First, I'm so sorry for your loss!!
My company gives 3 paid bereavement days for immediate family (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and it MIGHT include grandparent), or 1 day for anyone else.

I'm sorry for your loss.
I am not positive on all of the amounts but I did get 2 days for my Step-dad, BIL (DH only got 1 day), Grandmother, and for my granddaughter (DH also only got 1 day). I don't remember if it more for a spouse or child but I think maybe just one day for aunt or uncle.
