How many DPO is it possible to get a BFP??
Does anyone know what is the soonest after ovulation one could test and possibly see a BFP?
I am only 4 DPO and I am trying to figure out how many tests I need to have on hand and when it is appropriate to actually start testing.
Thanks and babydust for all!!

I wouldn't even THINK of testing before 10 dpo!
But if you can, try to hold out until 12-14 dpo! Or when AF is late

Don't get me wrong, I am not planning on testing before 9 or 10 DPO, however DH and I are heading to Jamaica next Saturday so I want to make sure I pack enough tests!
As for AF....my cycle is so messed up that I wouldn't even begin to have a clue as to when I would be late.

I would say 10 dpo is a good time to test.

Jill
The earliest I would test is 10dpo, but I always say to wait until AF is late, but I know with your cycles you don't really know. Typically, you should get AF 14 days past ovulation. I'm rooting for you!!!

Re: How many DPO is it possible to get a BFP??
I got my BFP at 10DPO however, I recommend using a very sensitive test. I used First Response Early Result and got a VERRRRRY faint line at 10DPO. The line got darker each day. Other tests, for example, the Dollar Tree tests didn't give me a positive at all and I didn't get a positive with the digital until 12DPO. Lots of luck!!!!

Re: How many DPO is it possible to get a BFP??
Thank you girls!
Seems like I am going to (try to) wait until 10 DPO and I will pick up a couple of the First Response tests since a couple of you mentioned that they seemed to be the best at giving the early read.
DH and I are really looking forward to getting away. We are celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary! Neither of us have been to Jamaica and I haven't been away on a real vacation since our honeymoon.....so we are very excited!
However if AF is coming to town I am hoping she shows up earlier rather than later so that I can enjoy some cocktails

Have fun in Jamaica-- we were just there a month ago. Where are you staying?
Honestly, if I were you-- I would just go on vacay and enjoy your time together-- then wait to test til you get back. Nothing you do at this point will affect the baby if you are pregnant. And if you are not, you don't want to spend time being upset on your first vacay in two years.

I totally agree with this! If you test on vacation, how are you going to feel the rest of the trip IF it's a BFN, will it ruin your time away with DH?
