How many hours of sleep doesa 2.5 year old need?
We have to have DD up by 545 every morning so we can leave by 610. She goes to bed at around 730 each night. We have to wake her up most times and she is a NIGHTMARE. She is a lwasy a nightmare when she wkes up and she is not ready. If she falls asleep in the car home form the sitters I can expect at least 15 minutes of crying before she wakes up and calms down, same with the mornigs and its driving us crazy.Saturday she slept until SHE woke up and she was adifferent kid. So we tried to put her to bed earlier but its styill light out and she wont go and really its very rushed for us to put her ina t 7 between gettign teh baby down at 630 dh comes home and wants to se her etc etc.
Any siggesstions?

I'm not sure how much they "need," but my DD, who will be 2.5 in a few days, sleeps from 8:30-7ish. She will now only nap in the car if I take her for a ride in the afternoon. Does your DD still nap during the day? It sounds like that would really help.

Sometimes yes sometimes no. Actually I guess the answer is sometimes he takes a real nap at teh sitters and if she doesnt then she will always fall asleep in teh car for a short time that it takes to get home maybe 30 minutes. I tried to see if a nap made a difference and it doesnt.
