How many hours per week do you work?

I work 60-70 hours per week. I just don't feel like I can be in the office that much throughout pregnancy.

Do you plan to work part-time once you have the baby?

I'm going to try to drop down to 40 hours per week. That is almost like part-time in my industry unfortunately. I might need to get a new job altogether.

50+ on a regular week. If I have morning or evening events, I need to stay longer. During the fall, I travel 80% of the time.

ETA: I will return to work after my 4 months maternity leave. I think even if we have more children, I will still continue to work. It is something I do for me.

40-50 I'm okay for now. I'm usually home by 5:30-6:00. Mornings right now are very difficult for me.

Right now, my plan is to come back to work after an extended maternity leave (6 months). Although that could change as we want to try for #2 when this one is 8 months old. We can afford for me to stay home, but right now DH is pretty firm on the fact that I should go back to work, at least PT.

actuall AT work or from the time i get up until the time I get home

Actually at work; I work about 45-50 hours

From the time I get up until I get home; it's about 60 hours (12 hr. days)

i work 39 hours a week (three 13 hour shifts). I will do the same after my 3 month maternity leave.

My hours tend to vary by the construction season, I work in civil engineering. So sometimes I work 40 hours a week and other times when we are really busy I'll work 70 hours a week.

37.5 But I do commute to the city 2 days per week which increases my time. I very rarely work overtime unless of course there is an emergency.

i work 40 hours a week, but my commute is fairly short (15-20 minutes) and i just sit at a desk all day. i plan on working till the end, taking a day off here and there to break up the weeks.

i can't imagine working 60 or 70 hours at this point

35 hrs. but my darn travel time is 4 hours per day.

it varies tremendously...... I'm basically my own boss, so I come and go as I please... but I DO have a lot I need to do. I'm doing my best to finish up 2 projects (at least the experiments) before Scone arrives. 1/2 of them have to be done in the middle of the night (from 11pm-330am) Luckily, DH is also a scientist and he can help me out with those....

the 3rd trimester is hitting me like a ton of bricks. I'm getting everything done, but it takes the wind out of me quite regularly, and I find I must collapse at a lunch table and drink a liter and have an 'emergency snack' to recover.......

DH and I agreed that I must now go home whenever I do not have to actively do something... (so I leave once in a blue moon at 3pm, so I can go home, nap, and return at 11pm)....

I work 40 hours a week...and sit at a desk...which is fine..but the commute is kicking my butt...

I work 23 hours. I only work part-time now so I'll do the same after the baby. I'm also a part-time student during the year.

Right now I work zero hours a week...but school starts up again in 2 weeks here

During the school year, I only work AT school for about 37 hours, but the amount of time I spend grading and planning at home probably takes that number up around 55-60 hours per week.

another 40 hour a week person here. I'm normally able to do what I need to do without having to put in extra hours. I also commute into the city though which adds to my day. I'm out of the house between 11 and 12 hours a day.
