how many inches does your belly measure in the 3rd trimester?

Just wondering.

I'm planning to make some skirts for myself for the summer and I'm just wondering how big to make the waist.

ok...
I have to share this since it just happened yesterday!

DH and I were in IKEA and he took one of the measuring bands and wrapped it around my belly and it was like 38 inches

All in fun and I dont think it was accurate...maybe it was.

-When I do go to doc, they dont ever tell me.

Im going today so if they do, I will let you know. Im 35wks.

They've never told me. I believe in either Your Pregnancy Week by Week or What to Expect it tells you tho. I just was told that I was measuring small.

That being said, for comfort sake if I were you, I would make things that go under your belly, it may seem very low, but if you wear a longer top it would be more comfy.

Mine is about 39 now and I am 35 weeks

The doctor measured mine from top to bottom the other day (not around) and said it should be one inch for every week. I was 30 inches at 30 weeks, so it was perfect!

Of course, I can't imagine growing another 10 inches out by the time the baby comes!
