how many naps does your 4 month old take?
Do you just have your DC nap when she is tired or are they scheduled? If they are scheduled when do you have them nap>

Emma is almost 5 mos old and she naps all the time. She isn't really on a schedule, she just naps when she is tired, which is a lot! She has been like that since birth. She sleeps probably 18 or 19 hours a day.

DS was taking a bunch of 30min cat naps a day as he was tired (more like when he finally let himself fall asleep cause he can't stnad not watching everything going on). We started and earlier bedtime last week and since we modified that, he night wakings have been less, he's sleeping about 12 hours a night and his nap schedule has fallen into place--all by making his bedtime an hour earlier! Now he's napping between 9-10 for about 2 hours, another nap at about 1 for an hour and another at 3 for about an hour. These are all still a bit variable for start time and length, but are more along the lines of what he should be napping (according to Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child).

Ds was taking 3 naps at that point. He'd take each one after being awake for about 2 hours. They'd last anywhere from a half hour to an hour each.

Same here but they are:
1st at least 1 hour
2nd about two hours
3rd 45 minutes
They must have read "Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child" because they do pretty much what the author describes.
