how many of you still drink coffee?

I love my coffee before getting pregnant I would have one in the morning and one in the afternoon. When i 1st learned i was prenant I gave it up but lately have had my one cup in the morning. My friend said she drank oit thru out her pregnancy. I do not want to hurt my baby how harmful is it. I can not drink decaf i hate the taste of it, i am willing to give it up if it is harmful, i am just not sure how harmful it is.

I used to have a large cup every morning. When I first got pg I stopped, now I have one occasionally.

I drink it everyday. I was told by my dr. that 1-2 cups per day is fine.

I used to have 1 small cup in the morning. When I was 1st PG I still had it - my doctor said 300mg of caffine a day is OK and it was OK if I drank 1 cup. But then all-day sickness kicked in and I couldnt stand the thought of coffee.

I used to drink 1-2 large cups of coffee a day. When I found out I was PG I switched to Decaff and got major headaches. No I have a small cup in the morning and its good enough for me and sometimes I don't even finish it!

I am on the fence about coffee. I've read you can have 300-500 mg a day. The thing that scares me is you don't know how much each specific cup holds or each coffee. Some may have more caffeine than others. I recently had a M/C and was drinking coffee. Not that I think that caused it but I will probably drink decaf next time. I love iced tea too so it is very hard for me. At least for the 1st three months I will skip it probably

I drank a decaf iced coffee everyday when i was preggo...sometimes 2 a day!

I was a caffeine addict!!! It was so hard with the 1st pg, sadly that one ended in m/c. But since I shed the habit with that one, i never picked it up again.

If you want to kick it, what I did was do 1/2 decaf 1/2 reg than up the decaf ratio. It's hard in the beginning but sooner or later your body stops relying on caffeine. If I drink anything caffeinated now, I get such awful jitters!!

Being sick 24/7 for the last month, coffee, even decaf has been on my gagging list.

Caffeine is one of those things that effects haven't been proved either way to cause any harm. But I would rather not put a "drug" into my body in the 1st trimester having been through a loss. Just My honest opinion..

I still drink coffee...but only decaf.

I played it safe... I cut my caffene take down slowly when we were TTC. By the time I found out I was preggo I was down to one small cup a morning-- and then I just stopped.

I started drinking decaff maybe once a week.
I stopped cold turkey and got headaches for 3 days straight.

I have a cup every monring from 7-11. I don't drink anything else with caffiene throughout the day and I just couldn't give it up!

I drink caffeine a few times a week-sweet tea or a glass of pepsi.

I drink about 1 - 2 cups of regular coffee a week.

But often times, I don't even finish it.

I never gave up my morning cup of coffee - small one every morning at my house. I don't drink any soda or anything else thruout the day.... I am 20 weeks now
