I feel that you cannot have enough onesies and sleepers. They spit up on them, poop on them, etc. I don't have a washer and dryer, so I have a lot more wash cloths and blankets than I need. So if you have a washer, I'd say one or two packages of each (the ones I use come in 4 packs).

Re: How many onesies, sleepers, sleep and play.....
Onesies I would say at least 12 in the small sizes (at about 6 months I started using them less but that depends on the season of your baby) Sleepers again depends on season. If you baby will need to be warm to sleep I would say at least 8-12 Washcloths I don't need very many but I have a ton. At 9 months I haven't even used half of them. I stay up on my laundry and only do a bath every 2-3 days. We didn't use receiving blankets so they went to waste. We used the swaddle me's.

I agree. Especially in the beginning, she went through a bunch of onesies and pj's a day, I couldn't keep up with the wash and would run out. I haven't really been putting them on her this summer though. I am a huge fan of feetie pj's, she is still wearing them now because of the AC.
I also love the receiving blankets, I used them to swaddle her when she was tiny and now I use the over her in the crib because they are so lightweight and make me feel better about having a blanket in there with her.

Re: How many onesies, sleepers, sleep and play.....
I have too many receiving blankets!!! I did use the chef shirt side button shirts in the beginnig especially at night because if she leaked I didn't have to take off the whole outfit and I liked it better for the belly button... Washcloths maybe 5 that's all I too stay up with the laundry so I don't need that many..
