How many pack n plays?

The reviews for the twin pack n play were not good, so I as going to register for 2 pack n plays. The majority of the time we will be in my living room downstairs so I'm thinking I'll need the pnp's for downstairs.

The things is I'll be going back to work at 3 months. My MIL will watch the babies 2x a week and my mom will watch them the other 3 days. So DH and I were thinking they each need 2 pnp's?? So this would be 6 pnp's! Does this sound right to you ladies?

My parents don't have a ton of space so I don't think 2 pnp's would even fit. My in-laws have plenty of room. I'm feeling overwhelmed. Help!

I actually got the twin pack and play and while I didn't use the bassinet parts too much (I chose to put them in their cribs even as newborns) I LOVE that the pack and play itself is bigger then the single ones! There's plenty of room for both of them even now at 10 months old. Besides the fact that 2 PNP will take a lot of room they wouldn't be able to play with each other Sorry I know this is no help to you really.

I only used my PNP to change the kids. We live in a cape and I kept the PNP on the 1st floor so i didn't have to run up and down the stairs each time I needed to change them.

Maybe u can just get 1 for your moms and 1 for your mil? When the babies are small, they can definitely share. I'd say until at least 6mo.

ETA: We just have the regular PNP....not the twin. I thought the twin was ugly. (Sorry, JMO!)

I have the twin PNP and while it's not as nice as the others it's bigger and gives both of my boys plenty of room to play together. They even slept together in it while we were on vacations. When they were newborns they slept in the bassinet parts in my living room during the day. There was no way I had room for two PNPs so this worked great for us.

I haven't used them yet, but I registered for the regular pack and play and then also the graco tot bloc pack and play bc it was much larger. I could see them both in it for much longer.

We bought two. One for our room and one for downstairs. We change them on it every time since our older DD still has the normal changing table. I also have them nap it in. Now they weigh too much to have them both in the top at the same time but still fine for one at a time.

We were nuts and we did have 6 PNP's. My in-laws bought one and we gave them one. We had friends buy us 2 more. I borrowed the other two from friends. Craziness, but my in-laws and parents split babysitting and we tried setting it up and breaking it down each day. That was short lived.
