I mean, overage wise...

Ugh, lol, I always get myself into these situations.

Some more info-

I have a list of 160!!!!!

23 I am almost certain are automatic nos

It's a 1st bday and is local, as are all the guests

It is in the afternoon on sun feb 27th which is the day before school starts back from the president's week vacation

Thoughts? oh and as for changing venues- too late

hmmm i wouldn't invite more than 120. These places always over estimate how many people the can hold. Its like a limo you get a 10 passenger for 8 people. Good luckChat Icon

Thanks for the advice.

This place actually had 12 large round tables of ten set up when we visited and there was more than enough room, so I don't believe that we will be tight.

I guess my question was more about how many people on average rsvp, "no" for these types of things.

Anyone else? Bumppp :(

Probably about 100-105.

I have found that most of the "automatic no's" seem to come.

100-120

Most places are really packed if you have the max number.

I also would not count of nos. You just never know. I know someone who invited 400 people thinking she would only get 250-300. She got 400 yes. Yes, she had to change her catering hall and everything. Her DH was pi$$ed off.

Just be careful...they may not be allowed to have more than 120 due to fire codes.
Something to think about.

The general rule of thumb is 20% say no.
