How many piercings do you have in your ears & where to go to get ears pierced?

I'm thinking about getting a second hole in each ear but I'm not sure if I will like how it looks on me. If you have multiple ear piercings please share if you like them or regret them. I'm thinking I'd like to be able to wear hoops or drop earrings with a pair of studs, but not on a daily basis since I don't usually remember to wear any earrings at all, pretty much just for special occasions.

Also where is a good place to get a new ear piercing. When I was a teenager I went to Clare's but now that I'm in my 30's I don't know if that's the best option for me.

ETA: if I do go somewhere to get them pierced, do I HAVE to buy special earrings from them for the new piercing, or can I bring a pair of studs I already own?

I have 3 on each ear. Everyonce in a while I will not wear anything in the 3rd hole but I always go back.

I haven't worn any earrings in probably 5-6 years.

I *think* I have two holes in my right ear and four in my left. My initial piercings were done as a birthday gift from my grandmother when I was five. I think the second hole in my left ear I had done in the village when I was in HS and the rest I did myself.

I only just got my ears re-pierced before my 2010 wedding! I had them done as a kid and then I got this terrible staff infection behind my ear and had to keep my earrings out until they closed up. I went to Piercing Pagoda in the mall to get them done. They were very nice and clean and had a good selection of earrings to choose from. More often than not, I wear the earrings they were pierced with- I like them best.

I have 3 in each ear. I was wearing one hoop and two studs, but have been recently been wearing 3 studs in each ear.

I got my 2nd hole when I was in 7th grade, then got my 3rd right before I went to college. No regrets.

I have 2 in each ear. I always wear my small diamond studs in my second hole. Sometimes I'll wear a garnet or emerald stud, but almost always my diamonds.

I love having the second hole and I found they are way less sensitive than my original piercings. Those I have to take the earrings out every few days whereas I keep my second piercings in all the time. I got them done at Lee's Jewel Box in Whitestone. I was 20 when I had my first piercings done so I wanted a reputable place.

I had 3 on each plus cartilage on left. I wear earrings every single day but only in my first holes. I never wear anything in the others. I kinda wish I never got them done b/c I don't like looking at the empty holes now (although I did get years of wear from them). Can't tell I had my cartilage pierced but can notice the 2nd and 3rd holes on each ear, and I haven't worn earrings in them in years.

I have 2 in each ear, plus the cartilage pierced in 1 ear (although it may have closed).
I always wear a pair of simple silver studs in my second hole and don't always wear earrings in my first hole.

Three in each ear. I only regret the third because it's spaced too far away from the other 2. I wear 2 earrings in each ear on a regular basis.

4 in each plus upper left ear. i only wear one hole now. My dad made me take them out when i graduated college 10 years ago and was interviewing, never put them back in.

I have 3 on my left ear and 1 on the right. I got the other 2 on my left when I was in college but have not worn anything for 10 years or more. I don't regret it because when I was wearing more stuff it was fine, and right now when I'm not wearing anything they are not that visible.

i have 3 holes in each ear, but at most have used 2 the last few years. but i'll randomly put something in the 3rd one to keep it open. i dont know why i do since i never use it. right now i wear studs in my first hole...and if i ever want to wear long earrings ill move my studs to the second hole. at 31 tho i wouldn't have gotten a second hole. i did this in my teens.

i have 3 in each ear plus the upper ear done on one side...
all the holes are still open but i rarely put anything in my 2nd or 3rd holes - i can't even remember the last time. mostly it's because i can't wear earrings at work so to take them all in and out is just annoying.
when i got them done i did it at piercing pagoda in the center of the mall... i don't think it matters how old you are, an ear piercing gun is an ear piercing gun and if i needed one now, claire's or the like would suffice just fine for me

I had 4 on each ear and one up top. I only use the one hole on each ear now and for the past like 7 years... I forget the rest are there but my students actually noticed this year one day when they were lining up... I had actually forgotten about the rest!

I have two in each ear and my cartilage in the left ear. I wear small diamond studs in my second holes everyday (never take them out) and I change up the ones in my first holes everyday. Oh and I keep a tiny silver hoop in my cartilage. No regrets about any of them.

i have 3 in each ear i honestly can not remember the last time i wore three earrings i regret getting the 2 other holes

My right ear has 6 holes. My left has 3 holes plus the tragus.
I only wear diamond studs in the first holes and always keep a tiny silver stud through the tragus.

I have one in each ear.. although when I was younger, I had 2 in my left ear. The second one was right next to the first. (where people would get a second hole on both sides, I just got a second hole on one side)

I thought it looked cool to have it uneven. I liked it .. though for some reason (and I can't remember WHY) but I let it close up. Oh well!

2 in each ear and one cart. I only wear the one hole though, the rest I haven't used in over 10yrs.

3 in each ear but I let the 3rd ones close up. I always had an issue with them for some reason. I hardly ever put any earrings in my second hole though either - can't even remember the last time I did. Actually, reading this post just reminded me I have them . I might go home and put a little stud in there now.

I have 3 on each lobe, and then one on the side of my ear cartilage and one on the top cartilage.

At this point, I think i'm too old to wear anyting but one in each lobe. The others may have closed up.
