by my 12 wk appt, i lost 14 pounds. however, i was really getting terrible morning sickness.

I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and I'm up 9 lbs now.

with my last pregnancy i gained 10 lbs in the first trimester
all of the books iam reading say 3-5 lbs is normal

I've literally gained a pound a week since getting pregnant-so at 14 weeks I'm up 13 pounds.
My doc isn't concerned-I exercise regularly (walk 30 min/5 days a week plus work out at the gym 1 hour/3x a week), and don't eat junk food-so its really just my body doing what it needs to do to make a baby. Plus I'm tall and have a muscular build so the weight isn't alot for me (according to my doctor).
I get upset over the gain, but it's pretty much out of my control.

Hardly anything, like maybe 2 lbs. And I didnt have any morning sickness or anything. It was actually a little concerning to me bc I knew I was having twind from early on and yet was barely putting on any weight. But my dr. wasn't too concerned.

I would say close to 10 but it slowed down a lot in the 2nd tri. Now at almost 22 weeks, Im up 15 lbs.

I was lucky and didn't gain anything my first trimester. I didn't start to gain anything until around 16 weeks.

I think I lost about 10 pounds in my first trimester for my first pregnancy.
Looks like I'm in a similar boat. I'm about 9 weeks pregnant and have lost about 5 pounds so far. Sigh...
I ended up gaining it all back and gaining a total of 20 pounds for my first pregnancy.

Even though I had M/S, I gained 10 lbs. And since the last time I was at the doctor, I think I've gained another 5 LOL.
And I still have a LONG way to go..LOL
