How many sonos after the Level II?
When would the next one be? Not for a while right?

I wouldn't have gotten anymore after my level II but  was measuring small, so I had a growth sono at about 35 weeks.

most Dr's dont do any after the level 2.
Some will do a growth scan if your measuring off or if its their practice to do it.
My Dr. doesnt do any after level 2...I had complicaitons so I have had a lot.

only if you pay for or the Dr allows it as well.
They wont just "do one" and especially not a 3d...some drs dont believe they are safe.

I'm not even sure I want to do that, I have been hearing alot about them not being so safe. The suspense certainly will get the best of me though!

ooh - i didn't know that, about them being unsafe. I thiought it was only considered not safe because they worry women won't go for their reg. appts.? maybe i'll just beg for a gliimpse. i know i'll tell her my birthday is in August and that's what i want

My Doctor does a growth sono between 30-32 weeks.....
Depends on the doctor........ some do not do them at all..... some do them between 30-34 weeks....

If my placenta hasnt moved I guess they will keep checking the progress but I think if everything is fine at the Level II there wont be any more sono's.

Well, I think it is more than your doctor, usually it is what your insurance will cover

Usually none unless there is a reason...I had one more growth sono at 38 weeks because they were estimating dd to be a big girl....she was born at 9lb, 8oz.

My doctor wouldn't have done any others except that I was diagnosed with placenta previa @ level II so every 4-6 weeks I have been havinig sono's.
Luckily I had my last one yesterday and the placenta has completely moved. YEAH!!!
